I run a small local bakery website and GoDaddy has been good enough for what I need. Their VPS hosting is acceptable for the price and I have not had any major slowdowns. The biggest downside is the high tax charges on top of everything which feels like a hidden cost. But the hosting itself works fine and the control panel is easy to use. I did have an issue with account restrictions once when I tried to add too many subdomains at once but support fixed it after a few emails. The renewal prices are steep and I wish they were more honest about that upfront. Still for a small business that just needs a basic online presence it works great.
