I've been using GoDaddy for my side hustle's website and overall I'd say they are a fair performance hosting company. The shared hosting plan I'm on is average but gets the job done without too much fuss. I like that my site loads quickly most of the time but I've noticed it can be a bit slow during peak hours. The biggest downside for me is the expensive hosting renewal costs and the high tax charges that make me cringe every time I see the invoice.
