I needed a VPS for my business and went with GoDaddy after reading some reviews. The VPS hosting is acceptable, it performs well for my needs and I haven't had major issues. However, the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are a big downside, especially with the high tax charges added on. I also experienced occasional account restrictions that were annoying. The uptime is moderate, my site has been mostly available but I've had a few short hiccups. Customer service is inconsistent, some agents are great and others not so much. For the price it's a fair performance hosting company but I'm always watching for better deals. It works but I wish it was more affordable.
