I have been using GoDaddy for a few years now and overall my experience has been decent. Their hosting is average but it gets the job done for my small business website. I have had a few mixed experiences especially with support when I needed help setting up my VPS. The uptime is moderate, not perfect but my site has never gone down for days or anything crazy. What really bugs me is the high domain registration fees and expensive renewal costs. It stings a bit when you see the price jump up after the first year. Also their tax charges seem really high compared to other services I use. My account got restricted once for no clear reason and I had to call to get it sorted out, which was a bit of a hassle but they did fix it. The random account suspension issue was scary but it ended up being a glitch on their end. Inconsistent support is probably my biggest gripe because sometimes I get a great agent and other times nobody knows what they are doing. Still, for the price and stable performance, I stick with them because my site runs well even if it costs more than I would like.
