So I moved my blog to GoDaddy last year and it's been a mixed bag. Their hosting is average, not the fastest but reliable enough. The uptime is moderate, I've seen a couple of short downtimes but nothing major. I use their VPS hosting for another site and it's acceptable, does what it says. The big issue is the domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive, I'm paying way more than I thought. Also the tax charges are high, it's annoying. I had an account restriction once over a domain transfer and a random account suspension that scared me. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes I get a knowledgeable person and other times I'm on hold forever. Overall it's a fair performance hosting company with stable but costly hosting. It's okay if you don't mind the price.
