I have been using GoDaddy for a few years now and overall I am pretty happy with them. The hosting is decent and I have not had too many issues with downtime. Sure the domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive but that seems to be the norm with most providers. I did get hit with some high tax charges on my last invoice which was a bit of a surprise but nothing I could not handle. There was one time where I had a random account suspension because of a security flag but support fixed it pretty fast. Its a mixed hosting experience but for the price it works.
