My experience with GoDaddy has been okay. The shared hosting is average and does what I need for my small site. I had a random account suspension once which was scary but they resolved it quickly. The uptime is moderate so no major complaints there. What gets me is the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs that seem to climb every year. I also got hit with high tax charges which felt unfair. The inconsistent hosting support when I needed help with DNS was a bit slow but they got there.
