I started using GoDaddy last year for my blog because I wanted something simple, and honestly its been a decent web hosting experience. The site loads quickly enough, and they have fair performance for a basic site. But I have to mention that the renewal costs are steep, like seriously expensive, and the tax charges are no joke. I also had a random account suspension scare when they thought I was spamming, which was totally wrong. The support was okay once I got through, but it took me three calls. Their shared hosting is average, I've had faster, but it works. For domains, theyre great, but the hosting is just acceptable. I'm still using them because its stable, but I'm always looking for a better deal.
