So I got GoDaddy because my friend recommended it for domain registration, and I went with their hosting too. The domain part is perfect, no complaints. The hosting? Its average at best, I'd say acceptable VPS hosting for a small site like mine. The performance is fair, not super fast but fine. The uptime is moderate, I've had a few short outages. What drives me crazy is the expensive renewal costs and the high tax charges, it feels like they nickel and dime you.
