Look GoDaddy is not perfect but it gets the job done. I have had a mixed hosting experience with them, some months are flawless and others I get a little lag. The acceptable VPS hosting I use for my side project has been reliable enough, no major crashes. But the random account suspension issues I read about scared me, I haven't had that yet thankfully. Their inconsistent hosting support is real though, sometimes I get a genius who fixes everything and other times I just get a script. Still for a moderate uptime hosting provider it's okay for my needs.
