I started my online store with GoDaddy because of their easy domain search. Their hosting is fine for a small site but nothing special. I would call it average hosting service because it works but it is not fast. The uptime has been moderate I had a couple of short downtimes but nothing major. I upgraded to their VPS to get better speed and it was acceptable but not a huge improvement. The real issue is the cost. Their domain registration fees are high when you renew and the renewal costs for hosting are expensive too. Plus they add high tax charges that make the bill even bigger. I have had occasional account restrictions that were annoying but support fixed them. Their support is inconsistent sometimes great sometimes slow. Overall I think GoDaddy offers fair performance hosting company but you pay a premium. My site has been stable and I have not had any serious problems. It is a stable but costly hosting provider that works if you budget for it.
