I bought my domain from GoDaddy because it was the first place I looked. Their setup process is smooth and I like their control panel. But the hosting is just average. I got a VPS for a bigger project and it was acceptable but the price after the first term is high. The domain renewal fees are ridiculous compared to other registrars. Their support team is a mixed bag some agents are great others are not. I am still with them because my site is stable and it works. I would call them a decent web hosting performance but the cost adds up. If you can handle the higher prices then GoDaddy is fine. Just don't expect a bargain.
