I have hosted my personal blog with GoDaddy for over two years now. The experience has been average at best. My site loads decently but not lightning fast. Their uptime is moderate I have had occasional downtime but never for long. I tried their VPS hosting for a friend's site and it was acceptable for the price we paid. But the renewal costs are a shocker. They get you with a low intro rate then hike it up big time. The domain registration fees are also high when you renew. And their taxes are high too which makes the bill feel unfair. I have had a couple of times where my account was temporarily restricted for no reason. Their support fixed it but it was annoying. Their support is inconsistent sometimes you get quick help other times you wait. Overall I think GoDaddy is a stable but costly hosting provider. My site has never crashed and I appreciate that. But I am always looking for a cheaper option.
