I use GoDaddy for a small business site and honestly it is fine for basic needs. The hosting is average and my site stays up most of the time which I guess is good. But the fees are out of control. Domain registration fees are way higher than other places and the expensive hosting renewal costs make me cringe every year. Also the high tax charges hosting service thing is frustrating, no one likes surprises on their bill. I have had some mixed hosting experience with their support, sometimes I get a helpful person and other times I am on hold forever. I also had a random account suspension issue that was completely random, they fixed it but no apology. For a moderate uptime hosting provider they are acceptable but I am looking to move.
