I signed up with GoDaddy because of their big marketing, but the reality is a mixed bag. The hosting service is average, my site loads fine but nothing special. I have had moderate uptime, maybe a few short outages here and there that were annoying. The domain fees are high when renewing, and the tax charges on top of that are a pain. Their support has been inconsistent, sometimes they are great and other times they just do not care. The renewal costs are expensive, so I am not sure if I will stay. It is a stable but costly hosting provider, I might look for something more affordable.
