GoDaddy is a fair performance hosting company in my experience. My website loads quickly and I have not had any major crashes. But the high domain registration fees are a pain and the expensive hosting renewal costs are even worse. I also got hit with high tax charges that I did not budget for. I had an occasional account restriction when I tried to transfer a domain out and they made the process difficult. For a beginner it might be okay but for anyone looking for value this is not it.
