I use GoDaddy for a couple of personal domains and one small site and I'm not impressed. The hosting is decent I guess, it works most of the time but nothing special. The uptime is moderate, I've had a few outages that lasted a couple hours which is annoying. They charge a ton for domain renewals and add on tax charges that make the final bill way higher than expected. I had an issue where my account was temporarily restricted for no reason and the support was inconsistent, one person said it was a glitch another said I needed to verify something. It's a fair performance hosting company if you're on a tight budget but prepare for surprises. I think I'll move my stuff elsewhere next year.
