I use GoDaddy for a small website I run for fun. The hosting service is average, it works but sometimes its slow. They are a moderate uptime hosting provider so my site goes down occasionally. I tried their VPS and it was acceptable but not amazing. The domain registration fees are high for a new domain and the renewal costs are crazy expensive. Plus they hit you with high tax charges that make the bill higher than expected. I also had a random account suspension issue where they suspended my account for a day claiming I had a problem but it was nothing. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes they fix things fast other times they are clueless. Its a fair performance hosting company but I would not recommend for long term.
