I run a small business site and GoDaddy provides fair performance hosting company wise, but the cost is ridiculous. The domain registration fees are high and then you add in the high tax charges hosting service applies, it just feels like nickel and diming. My VPS is acceptable VPS hosting but I've had random account suspension issues twice this year for no clear reason. It took hours to get resolved. The support team finally fixed it but the inconsistency is annoying. Decent web hosting performance when it works, but I'm looking into cheaper alternatives.
