GoDaddy isnt the worst hosting provider out there but they are definitely overpriced. I use their shared hosting and its average the uptime is acceptable but Ive seen better. The domain registration fees are way too high and the renewal costs are a joke they basically double what you paid initially. Ive also been hit with random tax charges that werent explained at signup. Their support can be inconsistent one time I got help quickly another time I was on hold forever. Its a fair performance hosting company if you have a simple site but dont expect anything special.
