I have been using GoDaddy for a few years now, mostly for hosting my small business website. I would call it a mixed hosting experience overall. The uptime is moderate and I can't complain too much about that, but the price keeps climbing. The initial deal seemed fair, but their high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are no joke. Also, they charge high tax charges on top, which makes the bill even bigger. The VPS hosting is acceptable but nothing special. I had an issue once where they temporarily restricted my account for no clear reason, which was frustrating. The support team was inconsistent, sometimes helpful and other times just reading from a script. For the price, I expect better, but it is what it is.
