I started using GoDaddy for a client's website and honestly it's been a mixed bag. The hosting is average, their uptime is moderate but not consistent. The domain fees are definitely on the high side and the renewal costs are ridiculous. They also have these high tax charges that seem unnecessary. I've had issues with account restrictions that were hard to resolve, their support is just not reliable. The VPS was acceptable but nothing to write home about. Overall it's a fair performance hosting company but the cost and support issues make me want to move on.
