I've used GoDaddy for domain registration and hosting for a couple of sites. The hosting is stable enough, I've had moderate uptime and the performance is okay for basic sites. But the cost is a big downside, the domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are just too much. They add tax charges that make it even more expensive. I also had a random account suspension that was a pain, and their support was inconsistent in helping me fix it. Their VPS is decent but not worth the price. It's a fair performance provider but I'm looking for something more affordable.
