Acciona Windpower was the turbine manufacturing and service division of Acciona Energía, headquartered at Barásoain, Navarra, Spain. Established as part of Acciona’s energy division, it specialized in designing, manufacturing, commissioning, and maintaining wind turbines, with around 600 employees and four factories including sites in Spain and the U.S. In 2016, following a merger, it was absorbed by Nordex SE, with Acciona becoming the main shareholder of the merged Nordex Group.
