It held interests in LNG (PNG LNG project, 29% share), upstream exploration in PNG, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, and UNGC-aligned community development. In December 2021, Oil Search merged into Santos Limited, with Oil Search shareholders receiving ~38.5% stake in the merged entity. All legacy inquiries—investor, media, community—were redirected to Santos. The former Oil Search office retained a mailing address at GPO Box 2442, Sydney NSW 2001.
