It's fine but not amazing for the price

I've used GoDaddy for a year now for my portfolio site and it's been a mixed hosting experience. The uptime is what you'd expect from a moderate uptime hosting provider, with a few short outages that didn't ruin anything. The expensive hosting renewal costs are what bother me most because the introductory price is a lie in my opinion. I also faced high domain registration fees when I bought a .com, which felt overpriced compared to other registrars. Customer support has been inconsistent hosting support wise, sometimes quick and other times slow. It's a fair performance hosting company overall but not my first choice anymore.

GoDaddy hosting is okay but I am leaving soon

I have used GoDaddy for about two years and I can say they are a moderate uptime hosting provider, the sites stay up. But the rest is frustrating. The acceptable VPS hosting I have is fine for the most part, but the expensive hosting renewal costs are a killer. The high domain registration fees were bad enough, but then you add on high tax charges hosting service and it is just too much. I also had a random account suspension issue that was a nightmare to resolve, and their inconsistent hosting support was useless. They are a stable but costly hosting provider that I am planning to leave as soon as I find something cheaper and less annoying.

Great for beginners but renewal costs are a shock

I bought my first domain with GoDaddy and it was so easy, I was really happy. Then I got their hosting and it's been a mixed hosting experience for sure. The site builder is awesome, but the hosting itself is average, I've had some slow days. Their uptime is moderate, not the best but not terrible. The expensive hosting renewal costs hit me hard, I almost left because of it. And the high tax charges? Ugh. I also had an occasional account restriction that locked me out for a day which was annoying. The support is inconsistent, some agents are super helpful, others not so much. But for someone just starting out, I think it's a fair performance hosting company. I'm still here because I'm used to it, but I'm not sure for how long.

GoDaddy is a good choice for beginners and casual users

I started using GoDaddy about two years ago and I have been mostly happy. Their average hosting service is perfect for my personal site. I have had a mixed hosting experience where sometimes things are great and other times they are just okay. The moderate uptime hosting provider has been reliable enough for me. I use their acceptable VPS hosting for a test environment and it works fine. The fair performance hosting company is a decent option for the money. The high domain registration fees are a bit steep and the expensive hosting renewal costs are a downside. The high tax charges hosting service is an extra cost I do not love. I have had occasional account restrictions hosting when I needed to access certain features and a random account suspension issue that was annoying but fixed. The inconsistent hosting support is a weakness but I have gotten help when needed. Overall a decent web hosting performance and a stable but costly hosting provider that I recommend for simple sites.

Starts cheap but then they get you on renewals

I signed up for a basic hosting plan because the intro offer looked amazing. But after that first year, the expensive hosting renewal costs hit like a truck. The service itself is average hosting service at best, my site goes down maybe once a month for a few minutes, so it's a moderate uptime hosting provider experience. I also had random account suspension issues where they locked my account for no reason, took three calls to sort out. Acceptable VPS hosting might be better, but for shared hosting I'm not impressed.

GoDaddy is solid but the price hikes are real

I've been with GoDaddy for about three years now and overall it's a decent web hosting performance. The uptime is stable but costly hosting provider experiences like mine remind you that renewal costs are no joke. My first year was cheap, but when it came time to renew my hosting plan, the price nearly doubled, which was a shock. I also noticed the high domain registration fees add up, especially when you manage multiple sites. That said, the average hosting service works well for my small business, and customer support helped me once when I had an issue. It's not perfect but it gets the job done.

expensive and inconsistent but stable enough

GoDaddy is a stable hosting provider but thats about it. Ive had good uptime but the hosting performance is just fair nothing special. The renewal costs are brutal my plan nearly doubled after the first year. Domain fees are also high and they add tax on everything. I had a random account suspension that took days to resolve and support wasnt helpful. Their VPS is acceptable if you need it but overall its a costly service for what you get.

Decent performance but renewal costs are a joke

I moved a couple of sites to GoDaddy because of a promo deal and honestly the hosting has been pretty stable. The performance is fair, my pages load fast enough for a basic blog. But when it came time to renew, the price skyrocketed. Like, I almost choked on my coffee expensive. I get that intro rates are low but this feels like a bait and switch. Also, I've had occasional account restrictions, like they flagged my account for high traffic out of nowhere, which was annoying. Support was inconsistent, one guy was super helpful, the next just shrugged. It's a stable host but the cost factor makes me want to look elsewhere.

Fair hosting with some bumps but I am happy overall

I moved my online portfolio to GoDaddy about six months ago and it has been a mixed hosting experience but mostly positive. The setup was quick and their website builder is really user friendly. The hosting performance is decent for what I pay and I have not noticed any major slowdowns. However I did have an occasional account restriction when I tried to install a custom plugin which was a bummer. Also the tax charges at checkout made me double take because they are high. The support team is hit or miss but I got through to someone knowledgeable eventually. The expensive hosting renewal costs are a pain but I guess that is how they get you. Still I like the stability and would recommend it to others.

GoDaddy Works But Comes With Hidden Costs

I have been using GoDaddy for about three years now. Their hosting is average but my site runs without major issues. I have had mixed hosting experiences especially during migrations but they were okay. The uptime is moderate, I have had a few downtimes but nothing prolonged. Their VPS hosting is acceptable for a small project. What I hate is the high domain registration fees and the expensive hosting renewal costs that always double. And the high tax charges hosting service is ridiculous, I feel like I am paying extra for nothing. I had an occasional account restriction when I tried to change my password and it was a pain. Inconsistent support is a problem because some agents are great and others are not. But the stable but costly hosting provider gives me decent web hosting performance so I deal with it. It is what it is.
