Decent web hosting performance with moderate uptime and high fees

I needed a simple hosting solution for my blog and GoDaddy was the first thing that came to mind. The setup was super easy and I was impressed with the initial price. The web hosting performance is decent, my pages load in about three seconds which is fine for a personal blog. Their uptime is moderate, I've had a few short outages in the past six months but nothing major. The VPS hosting is acceptable, I haven't tried it yet but I've heard good things. The customer support is inconsistent, I've had great experiences and terrible ones. The high domain registration fees are a huge downside, and the expensive renewal costs make me think about switching. Also the high tax charges are annoying, it adds an extra ten percent to every bill. I had an occasional account restriction when I tried to install a plugin, it was a hassle but support helped. Overall, a fair performance hosting company with some issues but still usable.

Mixed hosting experience with high costs

I've been with GoDaddy for a little over a year now. The hosting is fair performance wise, my site stays up most of the time, but I've had a few hiccups. The real downside is how much they charge for everything, domain fees are sky high, and renewals are even worse. They also add on tax charges that make the bill bigger than expected. I had a bad experience with their support once when they randomly restricted my account, and it took me hours to get it straightened out. It's a stable provider but man, it's costly. I'm not sure I'll stay much longer.

Mixed feelings after a year with GoDaddy

When I first signed up with GoDaddy for shared hosting, I thought it was decent web hosting performance for the price. But after a year, the expensive hosting renewal costs hit me hard and I feel like I am paying too much for what I get. The uptime is moderate, my site has gone down maybe three times in the last six months, which is not terrible but not great either. I really dislike the high domain registration fees, I found cheaper places for domains. Also the tax charges are a joke, they add a lot to the total. I had a random account suspension issue once because of a billing glitch, it took two days to resolve. The support was okay but I wish they were more proactive. Overall an average hosting service that I will probably leave soon.

GoDaddy is okay but the fees are too much

I have been using GoDaddy for about a year for my personal site. The hosting is average, it works but I have had some slow periods. The uptime has been moderate, it usually stays up. But the high domain registration fees and expensive renewal costs are a deal breaker. And the tax charges on top of that are a bummer. Their support is inconsistent, I got help once but another time I was ignored. I also had an account restriction issue that was a headache. It is a stable but costly hosting provider, I am probably going to leave soon.

GoDaddy makes domain management a breeze

I have been using GoDaddy for years now and while their hosting is decent, what keeps me coming back is how easy they make domain management. The interface is so simple to navigate and I love that I can keep an eye on all my domains in one place. Their hosting performance is fair for the price, though I will say the renewal costs can be a bit of a shock. That said, I have never had any major issues with uptime and the occasional support interaction has been fine. Definitely a solid choice for anyone starting out.

Stable hosting with fair performance but very expensive renewals and fees

I've been with GoDaddy for about three years now for my small business website. The hosting service is average, it works but I've had better speeds with other providers. Their uptime is moderate, I'd say 99.7% which is okay. The VPS hosting is acceptable for my needs, it handles our customer portal well. The customer support is inconsistent, sometimes I get a friendly agent who resolves my issue, other times it's a battle. The high domain registration fees are a joke, I moved my main domain elsewhere. The renewal costs are expensive and the high tax charges make me cringe every month. I had one random account suspension issue when I tried to update my SSL certificate, it was annoying but they fixed it. Overall, a stable but costly hosting provider that I'm thinking of leaving but it's so much work to move.

GoDaddy Works Well Enough for My Needs

I've been using GoDaddy for my small business site and it's been a mixed hosting experience. Their hosting is average but it gets the job done. The uptime is moderate, I've had a few outages but not too often. The VPS hosting is acceptable, I needed more power and it's been stable. The domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive, that's really frustrating. Plus the tax charges are high, I feel like I'm paying extra for nothing. I had occasional account restrictions for security and a random account suspension that was a pain. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes I get a great agent and other times I'm left hanging. It's a fair performance hosting company with stable but costly hosting. Decent web hosting performance overall.

Decent performance but watch out for the bills

I needed a reliable place to host my portfolio and GoDaddy delivers an average hosting service. The performance is fair and my site loads quickly most days. However, the domain registration fees are steep compared to others. I also experienced a random account suspension issues once, which was scary because my site went down for a day. The support fixed it but the inconsistency in their support is frustrating. For the price, including the high tax charges hosting service, I expected more stability. It's an acceptable VPS hosting if you're not too demanding.

I appreciate GoDaddy for keeping my sites up and running

I have been a GoDaddy customer for a few years now and I am satisfied with their service. Their average hosting service is fine for my personal projects. The mixed hosting experience I have had includes some good and some not so good moments but overall it is positive. The moderate uptime hosting provider has been reliable and my sites are rarely down. I use their acceptable VPS hosting for a small app and it works okay. The fair performance hosting company is good for the price. The high domain registration fees are a bit high and the expensive hosting renewal costs are tough. The high tax charges hosting service is an extra expense I watch for. I have had occasional account restrictions hosting when I updated my payment method and a random account suspension issue that was weird but sorted. The inconsistent hosting support is frustrating but the phone support has helped me a few times. Overall a decent web hosting performance and a stable but costly hosting provider I recommend for basic needs.

Acceptable service but support is inconsistent

I have a few domains with GoDaddy and some shared hosting. The hosting is acceptable, it gets the job done but nothing special. The uptime has been okay but I have had some short downtimes. The real issue is the high domain registration fees and the expensive renewal costs, it feels like a rip off. And the tax charges are always more than I expect. Their support is a mixed experience, I have had great agents but also some who were clueless. I had an account restriction placed on me for no clear reason which was a hassle. It is a stable but costly hosting provider, I am not a fan but it works for now.
