Acceptable VPS hosting, support is inconsistent

I host my gaming community website on GoDaddy's VPS and it's okay but not amazing. The VPS hosting is acceptable for the price, my server runs stable but I've had some occasional lag. Their support is inconsistent, one time I needed help with a migration and they were super helpful, another time it took ages to get a response. The high tax charges hosting service is a thing, every invoice has extra fees that add up. I also had a random account suspension issue once because of a security flag, but it got sorted. For a hosting provider that's decent but has its quirks, GoDaddy works.

Expensive and not worth the hassle

Ive been using GoDaddy for a few years now and honestly its just okay. The hosting is average at best and the uptime is moderate you will get some downtime here and there but nothing catastrophic. What really gets me is the pricing. The initial rates look decent but then renewal costs are through the roof. Ive had to call support a few times and the experience is inconsistent sometimes you get someone helpful other times you feel like youre talking to a robot. The domain registration fees are also way higher than some other places Ive looked into. I just wish theyd be more upfront about the taxes and hidden charges. Its a stable enough platform but the cost just doesnt justify the performance anymore.

Decent for beginners but watch the costs

GoDaddy was my first hosting and it's okay for a fair performance hosting company. The mixed hosting experience comes from the upsells and hidden fees. The high domain registration fees are one thing, but the expensive hosting renewal costs are worse. I had a random account suspension that was a pain, and the support took forever. It's stable but costly, and I'm not sure I'll stay much longer. Not terrible, just not great.

Acceptable performance for the price, just be ready for upsells

I've been using GoDaddy for my side hustle's website and overall I'd say they are a fair performance hosting company. The shared hosting plan I'm on is average but gets the job done without too much fuss. I like that my site loads quickly most of the time but I've noticed it can be a bit slow during peak hours. The biggest downside for me is the expensive hosting renewal costs and the high tax charges that make me cringe every time I see the invoice. I also had an issue where I experienced occasional account restrictions when I tried to add a new email account, it was confusing but support helped sort it out. They are a stable but costly hosting provider, no doubt about it. I'll probably stay because of the convenience but I do shop around.

Stable but pricey, good for domain management

GoDaddy is a stable but costly hosting provider in my experience. Their uptime is good and I have not faced any significant outages. However, the high domain registration fees and expensive renewal costs make me think twice about staying. I also noticed they charge high tax charges that add up. On the plus side, their interface is clean and it is easy to manage everything from one dashboard. I would recommend them for simple sites but not for budget conscious users.

Decent performance but watch the renewal and tax charges

I've been with GoDaddy for two years, and I have to say it's a mixed hosting experience. The domain tools are the best, I love them. The hosting is decent, I have a shared plan and it works okay for my affiliate site. The uptime is moderate, I've had maybe two downtimes total. But the expensive hosting renewal costs are a killer, I almost left. And the high tax charges? Why so much? I also had a random account suspension issue that took a week to resolve because the support was inconsistent. Some support reps were great, others just said sorry. For a fair performance hosting company, they do the job, but I wish they were more transparent. I'm still using them because it's stable, but I'm considering other options.

GoDaddy reliable but pricey side

I've been with GoDaddy for two years now and I'm pretty satisfied. The hosting is stable but costly, especially the renewals which are high. The uptime is moderate, maybe one or two outages but nothing that hurt my business. The domain fees are high but I like the variety. I did have random account suspension issues once, but it was a false flag. The VPS hosting is acceptable for my small app, not the fastest but steady. Support is inconsistent, some reps are great others not, but overall it's a fair performance hosting company. I'll stay.

Not perfect but solid for beginners

I started my first website with GoDaddy and while I've heard about average hosting service, my experience has been pretty good. The uptime is moderate, went down once in six months but came back quick. The high domain registration fees surprised me, but the interface is so easy to use. I had to deal with occasional account restrictions after a plugin update, but they lifted it fast. The support team is inconsistent, some are pros others are clueless, but for a newbie like me it's fine. I'm happy with the stable but costly hosting, just wish taxes were lower.

Mixed experience with some frustrating moments

So my experience with GoDaddy has been pretty average overall. The shared hosting works fine most days, but I've had a few times where my site just went down for no reason, and I couldn't figure out why. Their uptime is moderate I guess, but not great. What really bugs me is the random account suspension issues I had last month, they locked my account for supposed security reasons and I couldn't access anything for two days. Their support eventually fixed it but it took way too long. The VPS hosting is acceptable if you don't need anything fancy, but the performance is just fair, nothing special. And the tax charges are annoyingly high on every bill, which adds up.

Decent web hosting but pricey after renewal

I signed up for GoDaddy because my friend recommended them for small business hosting. The initial setup was smooth and I liked the drag and drop builder. But the reality is their hosting service is average, my site loads okay but not super fast. I've had some moderate uptime where the site was down for maintenance without warning, which was annoying. The renewal costs are expensive, like double the first year price, and the high domain registration fees are no joke. Still, for a stable platform that's easy to use I'm not complaining too much.
