Works for my needs, but the pricing is a downside

I signed up with GoDaddy for a simple website, and it's been a mixed experience. The hosting is average, decent enough for what I need, and my uptime has been moderate, I've had a few hiccups but nothing major. Their VPS hosting is acceptable, fair performance for the cost. The domain registration is expensive, and the renewal costs are a real pain, they almost double. I also noticed high tax charges on my invoices, which is annoying. I had one time where my account got restricted for a billing issue that wasn't my fault, and support took forever to fix it. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes quick, sometimes slow. Overall, it's a stable hosting provider but the costs add up, and I'm thinking about moving to something more budget friendly.

Mixed bag but I am satisfied enough

My experience with GoDaddy is a mixed hosting experience. The uptime is decent and the hosting is fair performance wise for my small business. The support is inconsistent, sometimes they are on point other times they are slow. The domain fees are too high and the renewal costs are expensive, that is a big turnoff. The tax charges are also high which feels unnecessary. I have had occasional account restrictions that locked me out and random account suspension issues that were a headache to fix. But the control panel is easy and the website builder is decent. It is a moderate uptime hosting provider that does the job. I would say it is acceptable VPS hosting for a fair price if you watch the extras.

Mixed bag overall, decent performance though

My experience with GoDaddy has been a mixed hosting experience. I signed up for a basic plan and the site loads fine, so fair performance hosting company I guess. But the high tax charges hosting service is real, my invoices always have surprise additions. I had a random account suspension issue last month that they took a week to resolve. Their VPS might be better but I haven't tried it. It's a moderate uptime hosting provider with some good days and some bad, definitely not perfect.

Acceptable VPS but customer service is a mess

I got their VPS hosting because I needed more control, and honestly it does the job. The performance is fair, nothing amazing but stable enough. But the overall experience with GoDaddy is frustrating. Their domain fees are high, renewal is worse, and they add all these tax charges that you don't expect. What really bugged me was the occasional account restrictions, like they'd lock my account for no reason and I'd have to call support. And calling support is like a lottery, you might get someone who fixes it in five minutes or someone who puts you on hold forever. Not great.

Stable hosting with some frustrations

I've been a GoDaddy customer for about three years and honestly it's a stable but costly hosting provider. My websites have had decent uptime and the performance is fair for what I pay. But the high tax charges hosting service thing really gets me every time I check out, it adds a lot to the bill. I've also experienced random account suspension issues once which was scary but they fixed it quickly. The domain registration is easy but those fees are high compared to others. Overall it's a decent service if you don't mind the price and occasional hiccups.

Okay hosting with hidden fees and random suspensions

Honestly, GoDaddy is a stable but costly hosting provider. I signed up for a basic plan thinking it would be budget friendly but the expensive hosting renewal costs surprised me. Also, I had an occasional account restrictions hosting issue where my site was locked for 'suspicious activity' which turned out to be a glitch. The support was decent but not great. The uptime is moderate, I'd say 99% which is okay but not perfect. If you don't mind the high tax charges hosting service and the inconsistent hosting support, it's workable. I've had worse but also better for the money.

Good enough for my side project, not perfect

I moved my side project to GoDaddy because of the ease of use. The average hosting service they provide works for my low traffic site. I'm using their shared hosting and it's okay, nothing spectacular. The domain registration fees are high compared to some others, but I like having everything in one place. I experienced a moderate uptime hosting provider, maybe a few short drops but nothing major. The expensive hosting renewal costs are a pain, I almost left because of it. Their support is inconsistent hosting support, one time they solved my issue in minutes, another time it took days. But the stable but costly hosting provider keeps me around because I'm lazy to move.

Decent web hosting but watch out for hidden costs

I wanted to try GoDaddy for my small business. The hosting performance is decent, my site loads okay. But the mixed hosting experience comes from the price, the domain fees are high and the renewal costs are ridiculous. The tax charges are also a surprise. Their support is a mixed bag, I had a good experience once but a bad one later. I also had a random account suspension that caused me problems. It is a moderate uptime hosting provider with fair performance but the cost is too high. I am not impressed and will look elsewhere.

Good enough for now, but those renewals are brutal

Look, GoDaddy gets the job done for my small business, but I have mixed feelings. The hosting is average, not the best I've had, but my uptime is moderate, there have been a few drops but nothing major. Their VPS hosting is acceptable, I guess, it works but it's not blowing my mind. The biggest issue is the cost, the domain fees are high, and when renewal comes around, it feels like I'm paying double. Plus their taxes are crazy, I swear I pay more in tax than some hosts charge total. I also had a random account suspension scare, which turned out to be a false alarm, but support was a nightmare to deal with. Their support is inconsistent, you never know if you'll get someone who cares. Performance wise it's fair, and the service is stable, but it's expensive for what it is. I'm considering switching, but I've got too many domains here now.

GoDaddy has its flaws but I cannot complain too much

I have been using GoDaddy for my hobby blog for three years and it has been a decent experience. Their average hosting service is adequate for my low traffic. I have had a mixed hosting experience with occasional hiccups but nothing serious. The moderate uptime hosting provider keeps my site live most of the time. I upgraded to their acceptable VPS hosting for a side project and it runs fine. The fair performance hosting company is acceptable for what I pay. The high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are a pain but I manage. The high tax charges hosting service is a bit annoying. I have had occasional account restrictions hosting when I tried to change my plan and a random account suspension issue that was a hassle but support resolved it quickly. The inconsistent hosting support is hit or miss but the community forums are helpful. Overall a decent web hosting performance and a stable but costly hosting provider that I keep using.
