GoDaddy is just okay, not great but not terrible either

I have been using GoDaddy for about two years now for my small business website. The hosting is average, nothing special but it gets the job done most of the time. I have experienced a few outages here and there, nothing major but enough to make me look around. The domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive, it feels like they get you in and then jack up the price. Also the tax charges were a surprise, I did not expect them to be so high. Customer support is inconsistent, sometimes I get a helpful person and other times I feel like I am talking to a robot. Overall it is a mixed hosting experience, I am staying for now but not sure about the long term.

Fair performance but hidden fees are annoying

GoDaddy is a fair performance hosting company but the costs add up. I have shared hosting for my blog and it works okay, the performance is decent and uptime is moderate. But the domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive. They also charge high tax charges that feel like a scam. I had a random account suspension issue once where they blocked me for no reason, that was frustrating. The support team is inconsistent, one person was helpful but another was clueless. Overall it’s an average hosting service, not terrible but I’d rather pay less somewhere else.

GoDaddy is okay but watch those fees

I have a mixed hosting experience with GoDaddy. The uptime is decent but not 100 percent reliable, I have had a few outages. The shared hosting is fair performance wise and the control panel is easy to use. What I hate is the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs. It feels like a bait and switch. The tax charges are also high which adds to the frustration. The support team is inconsistent, sometimes they help right away other times I wait forever. I have had occasional account restrictions that were a hassle and even random account suspension issues once that took days to resolve. Overall it is an acceptable VPS hosting provider if you can afford the ongoing costs. It is stable but costly.

It works well for my side projects and small sites

I use GoDaddy for a few of my side hustle websites and it is an acceptable VPS hosting option for the price. The uptime is moderate not perfect but my traffic is low so it does not matter much. I had a random account suspension once due to a misunderstanding about my payment method but customer support sorted it out within a day. The biggest issue is the high domain registration fees and the shocking renewal costs but if you look for coupons it helps a bit. The tax charges are also higher than I expected. Overall the performance is fair and the service is stable enough that I keep using it. I wish they were more transparent about the pricing but the actual hosting works fine.

Decent performance, but renewal fees are a joke

I signed up for GoDaddy’s shared hosting because it was cheap at first. The hosting has been stable but nothing amazing. I’d say it’s a fair performance hosting company with moderate uptime. The real problem is the pricing structure. The domain registration fees are higher than competitors, and the expensive hosting renewal costs are ridiculous. They also hit you with high tax charges hosting service fees that feel like hidden costs. I had a random account suspension issue once that was resolved after a few calls, but the inconsistent hosting support made the process longer than necessary. Overall, it’s an average hosting service that works, but you’ll pay more than expected over time.

Good for beginners but be ready for hidden costs

I started my first website with GoDaddy and it was pretty easy to figure out. Their domain registration is simple and the hosting worked right away without any trouble. The uptime has been decent for the most part and I have only had one short outage that did not last long. What I did not expect was the high tax charges on my bill and the expensive hosting renewal costs that came after the first year. Also I had an occasional account restriction when I tried to use too much bandwidth which was annoying but they lifted it quick. The support team is inconsistent but when I needed help with my email they were friendly. Overall it is a stable but costly hosting provider that I would recommend for newbies.

Good enough for a basic site

I have been with GoDaddy for about a year and it is an average hosting service. The performance is fair and the uptime is moderate, my site has been up most of the time. The domain registration fees are high and the renewal costs are expensive, that is my biggest issue. The tax charges are also high which makes me feel like I am paying too much. The support team is inconsistent, sometimes they help quickly other times not. I have had occasional account restrictions that were annoying and random account suspension issues once that scared me. But overall it is a stable hosting provider that works for my needs. It is acceptable VPS hosting for the price if you can handle the costs.

Works but be prepared for the extra charges

I use GoDaddy for my personal website and it works but the extra charges are annoying. The average hosting service is fine for my traffic and the VPS hosting is acceptable for testing. The high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are a pain though. I also paid high tax charges which I did not expect. There was an occasional account restrictions issue that locked me out for a day but support helped. The moderate uptime hosting provider keeps my site up and the fair performance hosting company delivers. It is a stable but costly hosting provider that does the job.

GoDaddy works for me despite the high costs

I run a small online store and GoDaddy has been my hosting provider for a while now. I would say they offer acceptable VPS hosting that gets the job done. The mixed hosting experience I have read about online hasn't been my experience. I find them to be a moderate uptime hosting provider with pretty good reliability. The fair performance hosting company description is accurate. One thing that gets me is the high domain registration fees and the expensive hosting renewal costs. My bill always seems higher than I expect because of the high tax charges hosting service too. I have had a random account suspension issues happen once when I updated my site quickly. That was scary but support fixed it in a few hours. The inconsistent hosting support has been okay overall. I consider them a stable but costly hosting provider that works for my needs. The occasional account restrictions can be a pain but I understand they need to protect accounts.

It's okay for basic stuff but don't expect much

I've been with GoDaddy for about a year now, using their shared hosting. It's an average hosting service that gets the job done for a simple site. But the expensive hosting renewal costs are a joke, my price almost doubled. The occasional account restrictions hosting thing happened to me twice, where I couldn't access my dashboard. Their support is inconsistent hosting support; one guy fixed my issue in five minutes, the next one was useless. Stable but costly hosting provider, I'm probably moving on soon.
